2. Definitions
In these Terms and Conditions:

• “We”, “us”, “our” mean AL-KO Kober Ltd
• “You”, “customer” mean any individual acting as a consumer or any business purchasing Goods via the Website
• “Goods” mean the products offered for sale on the Website

 
3. Scope & Acceptance
By using this Website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, our Privacy Policy and any other policies referenced on the Website.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions affects your statutory rights, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
 
4. Products & Pricing

• All prices are displayed in GBP (£) and include UK Value Added Tax (VAT) at the applicable rate.
• Prices apply to online purchases only and may differ from prices offered through other sales channels.
• While we take reasonable care to ensure product descriptions and pricing are accurate, errors may occur. We reserve the right to correct such errors and cancel affected orders.
• Prices may be updated at any time, but changes will not affect orders that have already been confirmed.

 
5. Orders & Contract Formation

• By placing an order, you make an offer to purchase the Goods.
• A binding contract is formed only once we issue an Order Confirmation email.
• We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders, including where Goods are unavailable or incorrectly priced.

 
6. Payment
Payment for orders is processed via PayPal.
 Depending on your PayPal account and location, additional payment methods may be available through PayPal.
All payments are processed securely. We do not store payment card details.
 
7. Promotions & Discount Codes

• Promotional codes are subject to specific terms and conditions.
• Unless stated otherwise, promotions:
  • cannot be combined with other offers
  • are limited to one use per household

 
8. Delivery
8.1 Delivery Area & Costs
We offer free standard delivery to all UK mainland addresses.
Unfortunately, delivery to Northern Ireland is not available.
 
8.2 Delivery Method
We reserve the right to choose the method of dispatch.
 Orders are usually delivered by courier service or Royal Mail, depending on the size and nature of the Goods.
 
8.3 Delivery Times

• Orders are normally delivered within 5–7 working days from the date of order.
• Where a product has a longer expected delivery time, this will be clearly stated on the product details page and at checkout.
• Delivery times are estimates only and depend on stock availability.
• If an item is not in stock at the time of your order, we will contact you with a revised delivery date.

 
8.4 Delayed Delivery
If your order has not arrived within 10 working days, please contact our Customer Liaison Department on

9. Right to Cancel & Returns (UK Consumers)
9.1 Statutory Right to Cancel
If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 calendar days without giving any reason, in accordance with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
The cancellation period expires 14 days after the day on which you (or a third party nominated by you) receive the Goods.
 
9.2 How to Exercise the Right to Cancel
To cancel your order, you must inform us of your decision by a clear statement, for example:

9.3 Returning the Goods

• Goods must be returned within 14 days of notifying us of cancellation.
• You are responsible for the direct cost of returning the Goods, unless otherwise stated.
• Goods must be unused and returned in their original condition and packaging.

 
9.4 Refunds

• Refunds will be issued within 14 days of receiving the returned Goods.
• Refunds will be made using the original payment method.
• We may withhold the refund until the Goods have been received or you have provided evidence of return.

 
9.5 Exceptions
The right to cancel does notapply to:

• sealed Goods which are not suitable for return due to health or hygiene reasons, once unsealed after delivery

 
10. Additional Returns (Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Goods)
If your Goods are:

• damaged during delivery
• faulty or defective
• incorrectly described or advertised
• not the items you ordered

you may return them within 30 days of receipt.
We will offer a full refund or replacement, and all reasonable return costs will be covered by us, in accordance with your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
 
11. Return Conditions & Responsibility

• All returns must be initiated using our Return Form.
• Refunds cannot be processed until the returned item has been received.
• We cannot accept responsibility for items lost or damaged in transit.
• Please ensure items are securely packaged and an appropriate delivery method is used.

 
12. Guarantee
All AL-KO products are supplied with a minimum 12-month guarantee, which is in addition to your statutory rights.
Guarantee conditions:

• The guarantee applies to the original purchaser only
• Proof of purchase is required (original receipt or online order number)

The guarantee does not cover:

• failure to follow user guides or maintenance instructions
• normal wear and tear
• misuse or inappropriate use
• accidental damage
• inappropriate cleaning
• modification, alteration or transformation of the product
• damage caused by factors outside of AL-KO’s control

 
13. Liability & Losses

• We are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our breach of these Terms or negligence.
• We are not liable for business losses, including loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill.
• Our total liability shall not exceed the price paid for the Goods concerned.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for:

• death or personal injury caused by negligence
• fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
• any liability which cannot be excluded under UK law

 
14. Events Beyond Our Reasonable Control
We are not liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
 
15. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time.
 The version in force at the time of your order will apply, unless changes are required by law.
 
16. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
 Both parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
 
17. Intellectual Property
All content on the Website, including text, images, graphics and logos, is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.
Content may not be copied, reproduced or used for commercial purposes without prior written consent, except where explicitly permitted.
 
18. Equal Treatment
Gender-neutral language is used for readability only. Any reference to a specific gender shall be interpreted as inclusive of all genders.
